Hello all. I need some help with my sedum plant. It has weak, droopy stems and I can’t figure out why. I believe it is supposed to be an upright variety, though I could be wrong. It’s in a south-facing plant window. Is the pot too deep? I find myself snoozing Planta often for this plant because the soil is still moist.

Succulent’s typically grow leggy indoors because its really just not enough light for them. They really like to be outdoors with a wide open view of the sky and direct sunlight all day long. Try a growlight. Soil remains wet because it doesn’t have the energy (lack of food/sunlight) to drink the water faster. The more light a plant gets, the faster it can drink water.

Check the soil to see if the drain hole(s) is getting clogged causing the soil to hold too much water.
