RIP to my echeveria colorata. Lost her to root rot after repotting just a week ago. Apparently she was NOT happy with the slightly different mix as that was the only thing changed. Noticed a mushy bottom leaf while watering a neighbor and then saw her center leaves were completely black. Hoping some of her healthy leaves propagate. 😔

I haaaaaate when that happens. I am actually suffering from a new condition, Repotparalysis. It’s like a PTSD. Repotting is the trigger and doing so is going to cause the plants death. 😖🤓😉 The terms may be made up but my fears keep getting validated with each death. Gorgeous too. I hope a baby or two sprout. This Cactus/Succulent Forum could use a PSA banner for is all as a reminder. PSA: It’s Fall now and all should refrain from doing any repotting until next Spring especially if you live in the norther hemisphere and your daylight per day decreasing quickly. So if your cactus/succulent has been with you for more than 25% of the year then let it be until Spring. Does that sound about right?
