Helloo! I’m new to succulents. Does anyone know what’s going on, why do the leaves have cuts? The parts that cut off are missing and no where to be found. It’s a fairly new plant and looked healthy when i bought it about a month ago. Makes me wonder if there is a bird that likes eating the leaves or something. Thanks c:
Yes! Birds do eat succulents 😭 and it will keep coming back. I stuck some sticks all around the plant so the bird couldn’t stand on the pot. It worked 👍
4 gillningarOmg thank u so much. I didnt think birds actually liked eating those! Lol also, today one of my tiny succulent pots got knocked over, so now i have an idea of who the culprit is lol thanks!

Birds, squirrels, rodents, lizards and many other wildlife will eat them, usually for the water content.
4 gillningar Yeah, the hotter it is outside, the bigger the problem because I don’t think they are their first choice in water content 😂😅

I have a toad that loves my Golden Sedum! And he loves to lay in the pot beside her!

I think it’s probably slugs 🐌 Sprinkle salt around on the ground or egg shells and see if that helps. Good luck 🍀
