Why do the tops of this succulent keep falling off, is this common? I can see the stems starting to regrow but I am finding that once they get to a certain point they become so fragile and any type of movement can cause the flowered tips to fall. I rescued this plant from being abandoned so not sure if the fragility on the tips comes from the previous neglect.

I mean, echiveria are typically fragile like that regardless of history. Just the way they are. You really can’t bump them when babies. They do get a bit stronger as they grow bigger. Try to not touch and be sure to let the soil completely dry out between waterings and also be sure its getting ample direct beams of sun. From the tall one it looks like its stretching for light. Growing succulents indoors is usually a death sentence unless you give it a grow light, or if its directly in a south or west facing window sill.
