My Echeveria Etna used to be absolutely stunning when I first got it, but now after losing and growing new leaves throughout the year, it’s gotten very plain looking. How do I get it to have those big bumps again? And what should I do to stress it for those vibrant purple colors? Here’s a before and after from 6 months ago to now.

it needs full sun to stay that vibrant purple, i’m pretty sure it’s a sun-stress pigment, like how humans get tan in the summer

Put a grow light above it 3-4 inches away.

I imagine the grow light will give its stress colors back, but any idea how to get the little bumpy ridges to come back?

i think they might return when new leaves grow in the brighter light, plants like succulents and cacti tend to have a certain look when they’re fresh from greenhouses because they were in full sun, and new leaves that grow in our homes end up a lot different
