How? How does one do so well with tropicals but manage to kill or nearly kill a succulent? So far, I’ve seen crown rot on a part of my snake plant, root rot in my Zz raven and totally mamed a cactus??? lol I didn’t think I overwatered at all but umm I have been known to play planter pot roulette. Eeek

Hmm. It does sounds like overwatering 🤔 Are you letting the soil totally dry before watering? In my experience, those plants will be very forgiving of drying out too much, but the zz can be very unforgiving if it’s wet for too long. So my second question would be, what’s your platting medium like? If it’s soil that stays wet for a week or more, it will have the same effect as overwatering. If neither are the case, we can try to brainstorm more. I’m also more of a tropicals person, but some of the succulents are hard to resist!

I think that I had potted these guys in pots that were too deep and potting is not my strongest asset lol. I’m bad about how deep to plant roots. I did use a succulent mix soil and even added some orchid bark and extra perlite. I think maybe I need to use more perlite since I must have a heavy hand with water. :( andddd I’m now going to stop relying on grow lights and just pile every plant in my south west window lol
