Does anyone else have a problem with their aloe leaves, collapsing under their own weight despite feeling that it has enough water in the leaves and also not watering it that much (<3 months/water)? I’ve been supporting my aloe with different things around the house. It’s in the north facing window with an additional grow light, so I’m wondering how much that contributes but I have nowhere else to put it. It’s a rescue <3 anyone got advice or have a similar problem?

Mine is smaller and it’s bottom leaves bend in half and die - is it any leaf or just bottom ones?

It’s even the top ones… the bottom ones are very healthy but they are so thick.. honestly I’m wondering if it needs a little more water so it can have enough turgor pressure to be very rigid… might try it soon and will give an update

I just bought one last year and it has gotten huge. I haven’t had that problem yet, I hope not but I will keep a eye on it

Mine does the same thing. The bottom ones are thick but they droop over the sides. I just had to cut three leaves off by of this. It gets plenty of water and is under a grow light 6-10 hours a day.

I just posted about a similar thing! My giant guy was doing great until I repotted a few weeks ago and then suddenly I had this problem. I feel there’s something wrong as I’ve had it for a year and have never had an issue with this prior to repotting.
