I was given this succulent 2 weeks ago from a friend, and I am not sure if this is healthy, any tips on getting it back?

    Is the soil dry? Looks like it needs water.

      Seems unlikely as I watered it 3 days ago. However it is in direct sun all day

    i suggest you check for root rot since it looks dehydrated and the soil is wet. rotten roots can lead to the plant being unable to “drink” from the soil if it has no root hairs left

      Yes id repot in some a more suitable succulent soil mix. Terracotta pot would be the cherry on top!
