I’m upset! Someone please tell me what’s wrong with my succulent! I was thinking sunburn maybe? His leafs are drying and his color isn’t as bright anymore :( I don’t want him to die. Please help me! I have attached photos of when I first got him to what he looks like now! I’ve already moved him out of direct sunlight! Any other tips please! He’s my first 🥹

How do the leaves feel when you gently squeeze them? If they feel plump, that’s a sign the plant is doing good. Some of the lower leaves could be dying off because they just aren’t able to get enough light under the rest of the leaves

But I agree it does look overall healthy, but to me the deciding factor with succulents is how the leaves feel and it’s hard to tell from a pic

The top ones feel more firm and the bottom ones are softer!

I agree, the plant itself looks fine. If you’ve had it inside, it might not be receiving enough light to keep its colors vibrant. Echeverias can take a ton of light. I have mine under grow lights for 12 hours a day.

It could also be that you rubbed off the ferina (the white powder on the leaves). It will not “grow” back, but any new leaves will have it.

If you just cut off the dying leaves he will look a bit better, but to me he looks fine. Succulents like that usually fade in color a little bit over time.
