There is something wrong with my Bromeliad. I recently got it as a gift. One of the flowerish thing (not sure what they are called) has turned dark from white and others are turning dark too. I’m not sure what have i done wrong. Any care instructions would be highly appreciated!
i’ve got 3 bromeliads and they are doing the same thing. they only bloom for a certain amount of time, after that time is starting to end, they start producing pups and the mother plant will start to die off. you can remove the pups when they are half the size of the mother plant, and pot them up. it will take 1-3 years for them to bloom again, and then they will produce pups and the process starts over once again.
