This poor thing. I went to put it into a new pot today and it completely detached from the roots. It’s been growing - I can see new green leaves. Help!!

    Sorry love. You got dupped. Your succulent was straight up painted with wall paint and will die because it lost its ability to photosynthesize due to paint preventing sunlight (energy) to get to it. I’d ask for your money back.

    Hi I have have gotten some of these plants before! And you can remove the paint! I would do that as soon as possible to save it. I use mix vinegar and water together and use that to peel it off.

      Also if it doesn’t have any roots then I would cut like a hair more off then prop it from there

      I did put it in the soil for succulents. Will give it a week or so to see what it does. Thanks for all of the advice. Didn’t even know that’s what they did. #newplantmom #clueless
