Right now I have two plants and a plant light in my fireplace, but I want to change it to a home for my ever increasing succulent collection. Not sure of the best way to do that because I know succulents are going to need more light. Any suggestions on the best way to go?

Could you position a couple of brown lights at the back shining down onto the succulents?

What are brown lights? I I was thinking a few strip ones. Just not sure what would work best. The only thing I can’t do are the white plant lights because they’re too bright. The ones in there now are red/blue.

Nice fireplace! Love the white dragon against the dark hearth. Very dynamic! You might look into the flat panel LED growlights. Some put out a good amount of light. Depending on where the damper is, you might be able to recess the light so the fixture is hidden. The biggest issue would be ensuring it is weather tight (i had a fireplace that leaked during rough storms). If the plants aren’t close enough to the light, you could elevate the pots. You’ll need to review the light specs to see how close it would need to be. Hiding the cord with your lovely chachkis shouldn’t be too problematic.

Thank you for all the help. Flat panel sounds like a great idea. Oh and the fireplace is waterproof. 👍🏼
