My little Kebab Bush, his name is Trevor, is struggling 😢 He’s supposed to look more like the 2nd picture. He now resides in the west facing window where he gets lots of afternoon sun and I’ve increased his watering to once a week because of the reflection. He seems to be doing MUCH better than he was but still wondering if anyone has any suggestions? He’s not supposed to be all spread out like that (eventually anyway)🤷🏽‍♀️

stretch can happen when it doesn't have enough lite or it will stretch when there are water problems . however reding can mean too much light so this one is strange

Mine HATES water and loves sunlight. I keep it in a south facing window sill and water it like once a month when the soil is completely dry

What type of reflection are you dealing with?

Ya know, reading this question made me think… I guess it’s not really a “reflection” per se, but rather the window glass seems to make it super hot right there so I guess I just figured it was that. Some of the other succulents in that window LOVE it but that one seems so different and looks kinda burnt so I just wondered it the light/heat might be too much and what others have experienced with this plant.

Yeah I get it. I ask because I’ve dealt with the same thing, and I hate this variable ha. My last house got a huge blast of light and heat in the evening. Really good for the Winter, but throws everything off as far as the tiny bit of humidity I get. In the Summer, I dealt with crazy heat coming off the back porch - so much that I gave up on a greenhouse. From looking at your plant, it does look like it’s reaching for sun but a little crisped. But still eager to grow!
