I need some input, I so far haven’t had great luck with succulents.. I received this as a gift couple months ago. It was looking great but the donkey tails seem to be looking like they are dried out … should I just repot these all in different pots or leave them be ..

a chopstick actually makes a more accurate moisture meters than those $15 metal ones, so if you’d like to check your soil that way just save some from your takeout. i always weigh my succulents to see if they need water

Also if they are in a small pot the I would repot them. Because of how easy it is for it to dry out.

They are actually in a probably 10 inch pot but there are so many in there I feel like they are fighting for water and don’t want to over water them

I would separate em then again I wouldn’t bcuz they came together some plants like company to help them grow more but first get a tooth pick and dip each in the soil around each plant so see what needs more water where if you see tooth pick with soil it it means it’s good in that area but if you stick it in a place with less soil it wait maybe 3-2 days water that spot then redo it if you see the tooth pick no soil it DROWN THAT SPOT lol

Definitely repot with proper succulent soil! I got a mixed succulent pot from Costco a few months ago, they were fine until I repotted now they’re healthy, vibrant and one is growing nonstop :)

What’s the name of the succulent at the top with the largest leaves? I have one but haven’t been able to ID it.
