What kind is this? I think maybe a Sedum but not sure what variation. Thoughts? I rescued these pieces from the floor at Home Depot. Is it best to propagate these in soil or water? Obviously I currently have them in soil.

PattyI rescue a succulent from the floor few weeks back and I right away put in soil but I add a few mist instead of watering it. I guess it either way it should be good because the succulent.
