1 gillaWhenever I get a new succulent I always feel like Iâm playing the guessing game of trying to figure out how theyâll best thrive in my home environment đ thank god theyâre resilient lil guys, what I do is try and adjust maybe how much sun they have access to, how often you need to water it based on which lighting is best. It can take about 2 weeks for a plant to fully adjust to its new environment. When you are able to repot try to use soil specific for succulents/cactus. Usually my rule of thumb with succulents/cactus is âoutta sight outta mind, remember to water when you remember you own the plantâ. Theyâll tell you/show signs if they need water just make sure when you water to water at itâs base/roots! Overwatering/watering on top of the leaves where it gets in the leaves little crevices can cause damage; I hope this helps!

Plus, if the plant is newish it might already have had some damage that itâll need to outgrow. If you get to a point where you think itâs dying for sure, or if it drops leaves, you can propagate the leaves easily by laying them on top of the soil.
