My chocolate soldierâs stem broke after a fall and I assumed it was dead but I decided to still water. And it started putting off growth at the top. I was wondering if I should cut off the top where the break is or leave it and see what happens??!

I've never heard of a chocolate soldier plant, but this plant looks like its at least related to paddle plant! I have one of these if so and they root very easily. I notice you have some air roots towards the top. If you were to cut off the top and bury the part where the air roots are in the soil it will root readily and become a whole new plant!! Actually, anywhere air roots are coming out of the stalk it will root at. Here is my paddle plant- a similar situation, the cats knocked it down. It had air roots along the stalk though so I actually arranged it in a circle in the pot and then covered the stalk and roots with soil. Since then it is sprouting up many small plants! Hope this helps!
