I’m new to succulents and have 2 questions: 1. I left my string of pearls and other various succulents out is direct sunlight and when I checked them today the leaves on one succulent looked wilted and the string of pearls lost its color and some were wrinkled. How can I mend this or did I kill them? Pictures attached. 2. When propagating succulents, what do I do with the empty stem in my original pot? Should I empty my pot and take it out ?

    Hey hun, those brown pearls are dead. Cut the green off and put in a new pot and you can save that little portion. The other is SOL I think :/. Good luck!

      Can I cut anywhere on the string of pearls?

    Yes, empty the pot and throw away what’s in there. It will rot and attract pests and spoil the soil if you don’t.

    When the leaves are wilted you can still rescue them if you water them on time. But once they’re brown, they’re gone.

      We’ve allllllllll done it lol. But one day you can have a five foot string of pearls like me and it will be worth it 🤩
