   My tip is don’t be hard on yourself if and when some or all do or don’t take. If you are in the spring or summer season then most of them will probably take. Don’t bury them too far down. You can basically let them rest on top of loose dirt. Their tiny little roots will come out and they’ll try to wiggle into the dirt so if the dirt’s to compact they may not be able to wiggle down. I discovered all of that after many a leaf would not take. One day though during the winter I had to pull out the couch from in front of the window so i could get a cat toy on the floor. When I moved the couch I saw a succulent leaf had fallen off the plant all buy itself and onto the carpet. It had already grown roots a new tiny rosette. How long was it there? I have no idea. But I did learn just throw them on the loose soil. Keep them out of the blistering sun and they will grow most of the time. Oh and I learned I have to vacuum behind the couch more often.
