My tini tiny aloe has a leaf browining/shriveling. I'm not used to succulents is this just the leaf naturally dying off or is there any signs of a different issue?

This is happening with my aloe Veras too!

Like other succulents, aloe will die off on the older (i.e. the outer most, closest to the bottom of the stem) leaves as it grows new leaves in the middle. You should be able to prune off the dead leaves to help promote growth in the middle. I have one that faded, got weak in all its leaves, and lost its root ball from heaven knows what (I didn’t really know much of what I was doing when I got it). With pruning, it’s grown tall and is producing bright green tall thick leaves in the middle and has rooted well in a new pot with a friend. Hope that helps!
