My aloe appears to be dying I had it in full sun and it went from a bright green to a dusty green so I placed it in partial shade

You should probably watch how you water it you could be over watering and I recommend from experience moving it back in direct sunlight

I had this happen too when we started to have more sun coming thru the window. It got stressed from the rapid change. Moved it back from the window a bit & it started to pick back up.
1 gillaIt probably wouldn’t hurt if you removed the bottom-most one or two leaves. I live in Vegas where I get 120-degree temperatures. I put mine outside on the covered porch where they get tons of indirect sunlight and I usually water about once a month to every other week depending on when I think about it, the temperature, and sunlight. (Sorry, made a correction to my watering times.)

Planta says to water it every 15 days, but water it every 3 weeks. I did it every 15 days to start, and two died from overwatering. I was able to save the other two in time, and I looked it up, and it doesn’t need to be watered for but every 21. Hope that helps. Most likely stressed from all of the water and change.
