Help. Whenever I water my aloe plant a little bit it’s leaves get all mushy. It looks very thirsty though. This is exactly why I am not a fan of succulents. 🫥 Also I planted some jade plants and they are shriveling up.

They also prefer a warmer climate so if it’s to cold it won’t grow
1 mi piaceIt gets cold in my room at night bc of the AC. I’ll try to raise the AC temp a little bit to prevent the plant from getting too cold.
0 Mi piaceShould the aloe be in full sun
0 Mi piaceNo. Aloes may seem they need a desert environment but they don’t need extremely bright light.

I have an Aloe Vera, and have pretty much the same problem. I think the temp. Is one of the issues, but I have heard from almost 10 sources, not including my own experience, that they need water once every 21 days, not every 15, as Planta tells me. Try putting off the next watering, and see how it goes. If it seems as an issue, you can make a middle. Try every 18 days!
