Help needed! ** not as urgent anymore, but care for echeveria tips would be highly appreciated <3 This is Pheo, he has been leggy since I got him and now it’s worse to the point he was severely leaning and threatening to just fall. I struggled to identify what he is and honestly, still am, but he looks like he is definitely either echeveria or possibly crassula? That is just my own not so researched opinion though, I’m mostly used to my aloe plant and my regular, healthy jade plants but I’m trying really hard here. I need tips on how to properly care further for this plant, possible identification, or any other advice. **editing this to add that i’m aware the legginess is due to a severe lack of sunlight, im going to try and get a grow light soon. i just need to know how on earth to move forward!

Definitely an echeveria, if you want the plant to look “normal” you’ll have to do some chopping and repotting. There are some tutorials on YouTube “how to fix leggy succulents”

Thank you! I used to have an assortment of echeveria so I thought it looked similar. :-) Thank you again haha.

Of course! I just did something similar with some jade offshoots I had to make the pot a little fuller

Highly recommend the grow light! I had one in a south facing window (my sunniest spot) and it still got very leggy

personally, how i went about my leggy succulent was propagating the leaves leading up to the top of the echeveria, then just chopping off the stem about half an inch before the top cluster. i’ll stick the freshly chopped cluster in dirt and water it, then throw the leaves into my propagation platter.

Make sure it’s in succulent soil because it can’t be in regular plant soil due to it being a succulent
