Arizona desert drama

Can someone let me know if this is a flower coming up or a pup on my succulent? This is my first try at keeping succulents alive. Thank you

      Aww! Thank you. Should i cut if off and plant it in soil?

      That I don’t know sorry. I have the same succulent and it’s got these lil guys all around it too. I’ve not yet tried to clip one off to grow new roots.

      Also, I don’t know if this succulent would need to sit in some water after you clip it and then you would wait until it grows its own roots to pot or if it’s one of those plants that can just be clipped and straight potted like that so that’s a thought too:)

    Wait for it to develop a little more then cut it with enough stem so it’s leaves can be above the soil when planted, but let the cut end callous over before planting It.
