Saw this cutie and had to take him home! Meet Sticky Ricky! This is my first cactus - and I have learned the hard way that the stickers get on EVERYTHING! Ow! Any suggestions/advice on how to avoid “the stick”?

    I’ve had less painful experiences with my cacti by using tongs and thick gloves~ Just be careful not to grip the tongs too tightly and break your cactus~

    I also recommend taking the fake flower off. It’s not great for the cactus to have glue and a fake flower on it

    I’ve had my cactus for about 4 years now and basically just be really gentle and watch what you touch to avoid the spikeys
