Hi! I bought a Horn Tree Jade plant today, and much to my surprise this little guy was already growing from a fallen leaf in the soil. I took it out and replanted in its own pot, any advice on how to make sure this grows into a full plant? (The leaf it has propagated from is under the soil, still attached) Thanks!

Be very careful about the moisture level while it’s still this young, I’ve had many succulent propagations die because I watered too much while they were still small plants. Succulent propagations need very little water, as they pull moisture from the air. Make sure to let it completely dry out before watering again, and water very little. I water my succulent propagations with a spray bottle about once a week, maybe a bit longer.

Okay thank you. Do you think I’ve watered this one too much? (When I replanted I watered the soil around it a decent amount)

I think it’s okay, just be sure to let it dry out completely :)
