Iâve had this succulent for at least two years. It doesnât seem to really be growing much and Iâm wondering why the tips are brown

Itâs a species of snake plant, which means itâs a tropical succulent that requires high humidity and long periods of bone dryness between watering. Also be patient, because they randomly stop for random periods of time then start growing again.

0 gillningarSansevieria (now dracaena) are pretty slow growers by nature, and though theyâre marketed for low light, they love bright indirect light (which often promotes growth). Iâd be wary of misting this plant or putting it in high humidity. These plants grow in arid regions in tropical Africa. I wouldnât sweat the brown tips. This is pretty common in these species.
