I’ve had this succulent for at least two years. It doesn’t seem to really be growing much and I’m wondering why the tips are brown

It’s a species of snake plant, which means it’s a tropical succulent that requires high humidity and long periods of bone dryness between watering. Also be patient, because they randomly stop for random periods of time then start growing again.

4 J'aimeI swear my tube guy is dead, then I turn around to 3 more growths 😆 fertilizer helps. I use Schultz cactus/succ for him

0 J'aimeSansevieria (now dracaena) are pretty slow growers by nature, and though they’re marketed for low light, they love bright indirect light (which often promotes growth). I’d be wary of misting this plant or putting it in high humidity. These plants grow in arid regions in tropical Africa. I wouldn’t sweat the brown tips. This is pretty common in these species.
