So this is a dragon fruit cactus? What do I do with…this thing🤣 do I try to grow it? If so, how?

it’s growing! shes already doing her thing. they like briiiiiight briiiight light. it’ll be a while before she’s aesthetically pleasing, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder 😅

So it’s just gonna grow sideways like that? Should I move it to another pot so its roots can at least get into some soil??

you could pop that off and get it a new pot, sure — but it’s going to pretty much just look like this 😂 they really need to be outdoors to reach their full potential.

it will send out more branches too — from the host and from the new arm

My dragon fruit cactus grew very rapidly after the top cactus got removed.

How long did it take for it to grow the arms?
