Where I work was giving out free succulent clippings so I took some and potted them. This is Clarice and she looks just a little dehydrated She didn’t have roots when I grabbed her out of the box so I put her in soil and watered it. Any extra tips would be greatly appreciated never owned a succulent before before.

I love to add some hydrogen peroxide mixed with water to soak the stem for a little while, then repot it. You can still do it now even if it’s started developing roots. Hydrogen peroxide is naturally occurring in rain water and has a rooting hormone that promotes root growth. If you just wanna add a few drops of it to some water the next time you water it, carefully pull it out, then lightly wet the hole formed from where the stem has been stuck into the soil, that can directly place the peroxide solution where the roots will grow. I did this recently for one of my plants that was put in very poor soil that led to root rot, and it grew new roots within a week. Now, that was because of root rot, so I heavily soaked the roots in hydrogen peroxide, so you should only need a little bit (no more than 1/3 of your solution should be peroxide to 2/3 of the solution being water), and you can probably suffice with adding a few drops to the bottom of the stem along with some water, especially since it is a succulent that needs less water.
