Hello All, Checking in to see if I need to do something different… | The Cactus & Succulent Circle | Comunità di Planta

Hello All, Checking in to see if I need to do something different with this arrangement, i.e., move some to other pot. Looks like all are growing (finally) but Planta schedules different watering and fertilizing timeframes even when I synch them up. Some are elongated as well I think. 🤔 Plants: Jelly Bean, Jade, Baby Burro tail, Echeveria miniature, Echerveria Thank you!!

All your plants are so cute! It does look like there’s some etoliation, so I’d try to add another way to get more light. I think if you do keep them all together try to place the taller plants (like the jade) in a way that they’re not blocking the lower growing plants light

I have light directly above as well. Soil is cactus/succulent and some areas are green which indicates too much water (?).

They don’t look too overwatered to me, as long as none of the leaves are turning translucent and getting mushy. There could’ve just been some sneaky seeds in the soil if you’re referring to the mossy stuff

I have such a hard time with echeveria, under grow lights they want like 10-12 hours of light. Some echeveria also sunburn so you have to make sure they’re the right bulbs and distance from the plant. They’re also not very heat tolerant during the really hot months 🤣

Other names of the plants included: Pinwheel, string of buttons, donkey tail, tiscalatengo gorge sedum. Sorry for the many posts. Still getting used to this site. 🙄

The donkey tail and jade look really good! I’d think about separating out the other three into a separate pot with maybe a longer light period they’d be okay!

Also once plants have etoliated there’s not really anything you can do other than chop and prop 😕

Thank you Kades. Do I chop and then prop the leaves and do I leave the original plant as is to grow?

Awesome. Your addition snapshot of the process helps a lot. Thx again!
