Repotting season is near and I have two different species of jade plants that have grown abundantly over the past year. Because of their sizes, last year, I removed as much top soil as I could and added fresh soil to the pot. Can I repeat the process or should I move them to bigger pots now? I’m scared of the branches bending or losing lots of petals if I attempt to repot all the soil (remove the plants from the pots). Any other tips?

2개 좋아요Thank you! The jade pictured on the right suffered from bent branches and so I cut them, stuck them upright in the pot and they all propagated and have new branches coming off of them. I’ve had both jades for about 6-7 years now.

My best advice is smash on the pot till they come out with the dirt and all so it’s not causing so much stress on the leafs and branches, and stick it in a bigger pot and fill around it! Also how in the world did you get them so gorgeous!? My jade plant had been 3 inches tall for a year now!
