So, I have some bad news. Planta had me on a schedule to overwater “Spike” my cactus and I had to amputate 3&1/2 inches off the roots.😣

    I cut off all the brown mushy stuff before it became black rot. Spike’s healing right now and will be repotted soon

    You do still need to check the plant's soil to verify that it needs water; the watering task on the app has info about how dry the soil should be before watering. If the soil is too damp, snooze the task and check again in a few days.

      Yeah, I took him out of the damp soil completely. The soil stayed wet for over 4 days. I got new soil and rocks for replanting in a couple days. I’ll take pics soon
