The white film is the plant’s natural sunscreen. It protects it from getting burned. You should try not to remove it, since it often doesn’t regenerate once removed.
5 LikesDon’t touch it! 😂 it’s the protective layer that keeps your plant safe from pests, fungus and other disease that could kill it. It’s on many succulents especially echeverias. Watering the leaves or touching them can lead to death as it uses up more energy trying to keep its health regulated
