Seeking advice. My friend gave me a wee baby dragonfruit cactus earlier this year. He had grown A-LOT! How can I train him to grow up, or help strengthen his wispy self into a beastly cactus? I tried propping him up between the chopsticks and green stick thing, but he doesn’t stay.
Dragon fruit have a hard time keeping themselves upright, even large mature ones. Fruit growers make special trellises for them. At this size, you’ll probably have to tie it to the chopstick. I like to use bits of yarn because it’s too soft to damage the plants and easy to remove
I like the recycled bicycle tires on the support structure!😁
