Does anyone know what this sticky residue on this elephant bush? As far as I know there are no bugs that would leave this, and it’s only on this one branch. It started happening after I trimmed the plant back.

    If it happened after trimming I think it’s probably some kind of sap from the elephant bush?

    I recently trimmed one of my Elephant Bush plants to propagate and didn’t notice it, but it’s the variegated kind. Yours looks very healthy so probably not a problem.
