I would 👍🏻 I use cactus/succulent soil 50-60% and then 40-50% extra drainage material (perlite, small lava rock, etc.). I avoid adding things like orchid bark as it retains more moisture than I like for my succulents.

Haworthias enjoy getting a little rootbound between new pots, so try not to move it up into anything more than 1-2 inches wider in diameter than the width of the plant’s root ball. I swear by Espoma’s Organic Cactus and Succulent mix. PLEASE do not use Miracle Grow’s cactus mix for this plant. It isn’t well-draining, and especially not for a haworthia that needs to dry completely out between waterings. Hope this helps.

Good to know 😮‍💨 I’m used to having to tell anyone new here or new to houseplant care to steer clear of Miracle Grow, so I try to add that just in case someone doesn’t know.

You know that's interesting about miracle grow. I've never heard that before but honestly I'm not surprised. I guess I'll be reporting when I get the chance
