So, I just got this Echeveria “Lola” 4 days ago. I watered it and soaked the soil, haven’t watered since. It sit sits on my window sill not even 4 inches away from the window. I noticed that the leaves are wilting and changing colors. I loosened the soil because it was really compact when I got it. And I don’t know what’s wrong with it.

it could be shock from adjusting, or you overwatered and the leaves on the bottom got too wet from the soil and are rotting. only ever bottom water with succulents and never let it get soaking wet, that only ever causes problems. let the soil soak up what it wants, don't soak it through.

When you watered it, was the soil totally dry? I mean the entire pot. If you have the proper soil for succulents, normal practice is to drench the soil. With the proper soil you can not drown it by pouring water on the soil. Overwatering happens when you water the plant too often and don’t allow the soil to dry out. From the pic, it looks like you may have watered too early. When overwatered, the leaves will appear to be somewhat translucent. Then the leaf will wither and die. I don’t think Lola’s get much stress coloring. So the coloring is not from the light. Echeverias need lots of light. Even your location may not be enough for it. Unless that window gets some direct sun. Pic is of my Lola’s. They get morning sun but are also under a strong grow light. I just checked Planta for how often I am watering them, and it’s about every 6 weeks. That’s when I drench them until I’m sure the entire pot is wet. My soil has a small percentage of organic. The rest is inorganic grit.
