Found this lil one at the store today. Labelled as a senecio jacobsenii - trailing jade. I absolutely love the purples, and I can’t wait to see it cascade down as it grows! Does anyone else have this plant? What’s your experiences with it?

If you love purple you should check out a purple passion vine. One of the prettiest purple plants you can have in your collection and is actually one of my favorites. Easy to propagate as well which is a plus. Another pretty purple plant is a Tradescantia zebrina (wandering dude aka wandering jew) but I don’t call it that for obvious reasons but I still see them labeled as such. They have a sparkly purple back and the new growth is purple. There’s other purple varieties as well like a Tradescantia nanuk and Purple Heart. You should check all these out, I love purple so I own them all and I’m obsessed! Omg and another is a Persian Shield… the purple is absolutely stunning. But these like a good grow light and humidifier, it’s literally a must but you’ll have the prettiest purple plant ever. Also I know some good sellers for all of these plants on Etsy if you ever need to know where to find em!
1 likeI’m currently growing out a Tradescantia zebrina rn, it’s so pretty and growing like a weed! I will absolutely look into those others too! The purple passion vine especially

Yes you’ll love it!!! I know I love the back of the zebrina, it’s so sparkly! Well even the front is as well just not as purple and I love the bright purple 😆
1 likeHey there 👋 a lil late to the table, but I thought I’d add my experience if you’re still looping for any tips for it. I’ve had mine since June. Super low maitenance, a fairly slow grower, and can be treated like most succulents. I’ve got her potted in Espoma’s Organic Cactus and succulent mix in a plastic pot (the tomato can is just a pot cover to give her some more height from my windowsill for her leaves), and bottom water her every 12-15 days once the soil has completely dried out. How’s yours doin?
