I think I was overwatering my mermaid cactus. Now she's got a mushy bit and a dead brown bit, I removed both and repotted into a better soil and haven't watered her since. Is there anything else I should do for her?

    She seems to have root rot (now it’s pretty tricky to save cactus that have root rot I would search it up on how to cure it)

      Hmmm so per your comment I dug back in. The roots seem good. Firm, no smell, plump. And there is no mushy cactus near or under the soil. Just the tip of the lower right "finger"
