I have noticed two new branches on my silver torch cactus, one looks like it is growing off of one of the main stalks and the other looks like it could be growing independently. Are these something I should prune off or should I let them continue to grow?

I'd let them grow but it's a personal preference. Not gonna hurt anything

I remove offshoots when the pot is overcrowded which helps to prevent poor air circulation to the plant and potential fungal issues or places for pests to hide. Or I want to stage a new pot for gifting or selling. I’d let them do their thing as well. Unless there’s an issue the pot is enough to support them all for another 2 years or so.

Let them grow. Someday you can cut and plant to propagate but why mess with plant now?
