Help!! I think I let my string of pearls go too long without watering… what can I do?? I watered it recently but is there anything else I can do to help revive it. I’ve also been watering from the top, should I only be bottom watering with this plant, because the top pearls are a little squishy?

Hey, I think you can totally revive your string of pearls! Since you watered it recently, here’s a couple more things to try: 1. Watering from the bottom: Yeah, that could help! This plant loves to soak up water from the roots. Try bottom watering by sitting the pot in a dish of water for about 30 minutes, letting the soil absorb the moisture. This way, the roots get hydrated without the risk of over-saturating the top. 2. Squishy pearls: If they’re a little squishy, that might be a sign they’re still dehydrated or too wet from top watering. Bottom watering will help balance that out, and you might want to trim off any stems that look completely dried out or too far gone. 3. Lighting and placement: Make sure it’s getting bright, indirect light. If it’s been in low light, it might need a brighter spot to bounce back fully. 4. Wait a bit: After bottom watering, give it some time. This plant can be pretty resilient, so a little patience and consistent care should help it start perking back up. You’ve got this! Let me know how it goes!

I’m trying to rescue my variegated right now. I carefully trimmed off the dried bits and placed the hangers on top of the soil with hairpins. I’ve been top watering but mine is not as full as yours. Bottom watering is a good recommendation from Angie.
