Tried my hand at propagating my ghost plant. Obviously it worked because I have new plants but I’m not sure why it’s growing up and not making a fuller little succulent. Am I doing something wrong? I did pot two of them to see if I can keep them growing but I would really like them to get full and not just tall! Anything I should be doing differently?
When they stretch like this, they need more light. If they’re under grow lights they probably need either stronger lights or need to be moved closer to the lights.
4 LikesThank you. I don’t have grow lights I just have them in partial sun. I’ll move them so they get more.
0 Likes Yeah I find with props at the start they don’t like a whole lot of light but once they have a little baby and roots they need a bit more light.

I throw all my props in full sun. Don’t be afraid to give them the light they need. The pic below is a few I grew from cuttings started last fall.
