if anyone has any insight as to what is happening to my pothos plant! i moved it to a new location awhile ago since it was getting cold. It is dying now and the soil always seems to be incredibly dry, no matter how much I water it, I am on the watering schedule for this plant. It is not by a heater and it is getting enough light.
It’s likely the soil has become hydrophobic, so water is just running through instead of soaking in. That means the roots aren’t getting the moisture they need and may be drying out below the surface. A repot into a nice chunky soil mix and a thorough watering should help perk her back up 🪴

That soil doesn’t look healthy and I recommend unpotting the plant and repotting in fresh soil. You may also want to check the root health. That’s what I did when my N’ joy got leggy. I also cut the long vines and propagated them into the pot and it help make it fuller. Once the roots are healthy give it some light fertilizer to help with the leaf growth. Looks like the leaves are getting smaller.

0 Me gustaI swear my Pothos are going through something too! For yours, does it always sit by that window or was that just for the photo? If it does sit by the window, it might be getting too much light and it might be too cold there. Is it a pearl and joy Pothos?
