Hello, I have a creeping phlox that lives in my balcony. Ever since the heat wave it started wilting, and then this strange leaf appeared…does anyone know what it is? Could it be a weed?

    Looks like a maple leaf to me! Or whatever trees you’ve got around there

    Don’t pull it just yet… I agree with the earlier post that it may just be a baby maple! If you have a place for it, you can transplant it later and have fun watching it grow over the years. Maples are very pretty trees, at least I think so! Have fun… 😊💚🪴
