what’s a good amount of hours to keep grow lights on during winter?

    Grow lights and humidity can be used to trick your plant (to an extent) that it’s not winter time. Some plant parents keep their plants on a year round 10-12hr grow light schedule, and some dial it back to around 8-10hrs during winter. It all depends on your in-home plant environment and what results you’re looking for :)

      It would be good if you also scheduled time that your plants are sitting in the dark. About 8 hours or so. Darkness is when your plant puts to use all the energy it gathers while there’s light

    12-16 here. If you're upping the amount you keep yours on, do it gradually to harden them off to more light, so they don't scorch
