I’m having trouble propagating my spider plant babies. Every time I move them to water, it will begin to grow roots and get bigger, but then the leaves will turn brown until it just dies. Do spider plants not do well in water?? What should I do?
Do you change the water? They usually need fresh water every couple of days

Do you use tap water? Maybe try rain water if you can?
1 j'aimeI’ve recently learned that propagations need to be in a bright window unless otherwise specified. I’ve started putting my propagations on windowsills that are bright and they are doing much better.

I've always propagated my spider babies straight into soil and they always do really well. Here's one of my babies all grown up with babies of her own 😍
