Should I cut off some of the roots I plan on putting fish in a one gallon bowl with this plant

    Would you please post a photo when you get your bowl set up with a fish? Iā€™ve been wanting to do something like that and Iā€™d love some inspiration.

    I would recommend at least 5 gallons for a betta fish. A single goldfish would need at least 20. I know aquatic plant bowls are super fun, but unfortunately a gallon canā€™t really cut it for fish in the long term when it comes to the fishā€™s health. However, ornamental shrimp such as neocaridina shrimp and small snails like horned nerite snails can be fun appropriate additions to a planted gallon bowl! Their smaller size and different metabolism make them a better choice for a bowl that size ā˜ŗļø

      Ok I decided not to get. A fish and to get a snail instead itā€™s a Nerite snail and I got a one gallon bowl I might go back to he the bigger size whitch is 1.5 gallons

    I would, because the plant is gonna THRIVE and get way bigger once you put it in fish water!
