Should I cut off some of the roots I plan on putting fish in a one gallon bowl with this plant

    Would you please post a photo when you get your bowl set up with a fish? I’ve been wanting to do something like that and I’d love some inspiration.

    I would recommend at least 5 gallons for a betta fish. A single goldfish would need at least 20. I know aquatic plant bowls are super fun, but unfortunately a gallon can’t really cut it for fish in the long term when it comes to the fish’s health. However, ornamental shrimp such as neocaridina shrimp and small snails like horned nerite snails can be fun appropriate additions to a planted gallon bowl! Their smaller size and different metabolism make them a better choice for a bowl that size ☺️

      Ok I decided not to get. A fish and to get a snail instead it’s a Nerite snail and I got a one gallon bowl I might go back to he the bigger size whitch is 1.5 gallons

    I would, because the plant is gonna THRIVE and get way bigger once you put it in fish water!
