Hey guys, this my black velvet alocasia plant, I recently moved him. He was on the shelf very close to a skylight, he was starting to get sunburnt so I’m moved him away from it. He’s about 70 inches from it now but over the past week this is how he looks😭 What is wrong and what is the solution please help !!
Is she getting ready to go dormant?

Not sure about the full issue, but I would suggest cutting the dead and yellowed leaves off so he could possibly put the energy into growing more.
0 likes Also, my black velvet did something similar to this so I cut it and moved it further from the direct light and a couple of new bigger leaves came in

Pot too big. They also are FUSSY! Bright light but not direct, don’t mist and no drafts
0 likesI transitioned my substrate to fluval stratum and put it in a mini greenhouse and she lost all her leaves and they all grew back and some because of the corms.
